Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 August 2026

Packly is a deck of conversation cards for two people. This policy explains what the app collects, what it deliberately does not, and who else is involved.

The short version. There is no account and no sign-up. What you say to each other while playing is spoken out loud, never typed into the app, and never recorded — there is nothing for us to store. The names you enter during setup stay on your phone. What does leave the device is limited to subscription state and a handful of setup answers, described below.

Who we are

Packly is published by Valeriia Krysak ("we", "us"). For anything in this policy, write to hello@packly.date.

What stays on your device

The following is written to your phone's local storage and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the app:

What leaves your device

Subscriptions and setup answers (Adapty)

We use Adapty to run subscriptions and to understand where people drop out of setup. Adapty receives:

Adapty acts as our processor and does not sell this data. Their privacy policy is at adapty.io/privacy.

Advertising measurement (optional)

If we run ads, we need to know which ones actually brought people to the app. iOS asks you for this separately, with the system "Allow tracking?" prompt. If you allow it, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) is shared with Adapty's attribution service and matched against ad clicks. If you decline — or never answer — no advertising identifier is collected, and everything else in the app works exactly the same. You can change your mind at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Card content

The card packs are downloaded from our server. Those requests carry the technical information any web request carries, including your IP address, and are used to serve the content and to keep the service running. They do not carry your names or your answers.

What we never collect

Sharing

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Information is shared only with the service providers named above, with Apple as the seller of the subscription, and where the law requires it. If the app is ever sold or transferred, this data would move with it, and this policy would be updated first.

How long we keep it

Adapty keeps subscription records for as long as the subscription and applicable tax and accounting rules require. Everything held on your device disappears when you delete the app. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription — see the support page for that.

International transfers

Our providers process data on servers that may sit outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to complain to your data protection authority. Because there is no account, tell us your Adapty profile identifier or the Apple transaction so we can find the right records — write to hello@packly.date and we will answer within the period the law allows.

California residents have the rights described above, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA.

Children

Packly is written for adults in a relationship and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use Packly after a change means you accept the updated policy.
